Education Rates
Education Rates refer to statistical measures that indicate the level of educational attainment, enrollment, or participation within a specific population over a defined period. These rates are used to assess the accessibility, quality, and effectiveness of education systems and their impact on societal and economic development.
Existing Nuclear Capacity
A measure of exisiting nuclear workforce by whether the country has an operating nuclear power plant. This metric is a proxy for having a nuclear-trained workforce. If a country already has commercial nuclear power plants, they should have a workforce with more relevant experience.
Human Capital Index
An index developed by UNCTAD that measures the education, skills, health and fertility rates of the population, and the integration of research and development into broader society. Workforce capacity is important for the safe and efficient operation of large and complex energy facilities.
